Bonds & Permadeath
Paired Operators grow bonds into combat synergy. But injuries compound, and a dead Operator is gone for good — written into the Memorial.
Tactical Depth
Percentage hit chances, cover, elevation, Backup partners, Overwatch interrupts, Advantage farming and Focus Points keep every deployment a puzzle.
Quick Answers
The questions players ask most, answered from verified facts only.
What is STAR WARS Zero Company?
A single-player turn-based tactics game from Bit Reactor (XCOM veterans), set in the aftermath of the Clone Wars. No multiplayer — you command Zero Company through a 30–40 hour campaign.
When was Zero Company released?
August 27, 2026 on PC (Steam / Epic / EA), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S — a full release with no early-access phase.
Is Zero Company like XCOM?
Yes, with a twist. The XCOM-style cover and Overwatch systems are there, but hit percentages are replaced by guaranteed damage plus an Advantage economy that rewards aggressive positioning.
Is Zero Company on Nintendo Switch 2?
No — the game launched on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. No Switch 2 version has been announced.
Is Zero Company on Game Pass?
Not at launch. EA Play Pro subscribers do get it on PC; the standard game is $49.99 (Deluxe Edition $59.99).
Does Zero Company run on Steam Deck?
Poorly. Launch benchmarks measured 11–25 FPS at the lowest settings. Valve has not verified it — streaming from a gaming PC is the practical option.
What engine does Zero Company use?
Unreal Engine 5, with DLSS / FSR / XeSS / TSR upscaling, frame generation and 21:9 ultrawide support on PC.
What was the pre-order bonus?
The Crystalline Astromech Cosmetic Pack — crystal-finished R3 and R4/R5 droids plus a new BR-1 unit, for the squad's droid slots.
